福岡を拠点に全国区で活躍し、ヒットチャート上位の常連でもあるLinQのうち、自他ともに認めるオタクメンバー姫崎愛未がIOEA応援大使に就任いたしました。
　Ami Himesaki, a member of the popular idol unit LinQ based in Kyusyu, Japan, took up the position of an ambassador of IOEA.

　世界のIOEA加盟予定イベントが多数出展した、幕張メッセで開催のコミケットスペシャル６では、中夜祭として開催されるOTAKU SUMMIT SPECIAL LIVEや、コミケットスペシャルの閉会イベントでMCもつとめたほか、地元福岡県「アジアンビート」の展示ブースではトークイベントも実施いたしました。
　At Comiket Special 6, which many will-be member events of IOEA attended, Ami Himesaki worked as a MC for OTAKU SUMMIT SPECIAL LIVE and closing ceremony. She also gave a talk at the booth of “Asian beat”, the website of pop culture run by her home town, Fukuoka prefecture.

The message from Ami Himesaki

　皆さんこんにちは！姫崎愛未です。
　Hi everyone, this is Ami Himesaki.

　私は保育園の頃、テレビ番組「ワンダフル」で放映された「デ・ジ・キャラット」にハマったのがきっかけでアニメが好きになり、小学生の頃は「カードキャプターさくら」のさくらちゃんになりたいと願い、“ハガレン”（「鋼の錬金術師」）」のエドにときめき、「機動戦士ガンダムSEED」の世界観に惹かれカード付きのウエハースを大量買いし、大阪の同同人誌即売会に福岡から遠征し、それはもう楽しい小学生時代を謳歌しました。
　I became a fan of anime by watching the show “Di Gi Charat” aired in the TV program “Wonderful” during my kindergarten period.
When I was a elementary school student, I wanted to become a girl like Sakura Kinomoto in “Card Captor Sakura,” fell in love with Edward in “Fullmetal Archemist,” loved the world view of “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” so much that I bought tons of snacks with character cards, went to the doujinshi convention in Osaka all the way from Fukuoka. It was so much fun. 　

　中学の頃は深夜帯のアニメにも深入りし、リアルタイムで観ることに意味があるのだと深夜まで起きて鑑賞するのが普通で、同人誌を買い、レイヤーになりたい！とコスプレについて調べ始めたのもこの頃。アニメの世界に憧れ、そして「コードギアス」のルルーシュに恋をしました。成人した今でもルルのことを尊敬しているし愛しています。
　 I started watching midnight anime when I was a junior high school student. I had this belief that a real fan must watch a series in real time, so I kept awake till midnight to watch anime. I bought a lot of doujinshi and started collecting information about cosplay. I admired the world of anime, and fell in love with Lelouch from “Code Geass.” I am now over 20 years old but still respect and love him.

　高校に入ってからは環境が大きく変わり、LinQとして活動し始めたのですが、福岡の同人誌即売会「COMIC CITY」でコスプレしたり、その他コスプレイベントにも出演、アニソンDJをしたり、「コス-1ぐらんぷり」を受賞したりと、好きなことには好きなだけ取り組んできました。
　 After entering a high school, the environment around me totally changed. I worked as a member of LinQ, but I tried to do whatever I like as much as possible. I cosplayed at the anime con COMIC CITY in Fukuoka, did DJ of anime songs, got an award of Cos-1 grand-pris.

　思い返すとやはり漫画やアニメ、そしてコスプレあってこその自分だなあと改めて実感します。二次元に感謝しています。
　 I think I can be true myself because of manga, anime, and cosplay. I am thankful to 2 dimensional world.

　そんな私が、IOEA応援大使に就任させていただけたこと、凄く光栄に思います。
　 It is such an honor that I can be an ambassador of IOEA.

　二次元への愛は性別も人種も国境も関係ありません。アニメや漫画は誰しもが分かち合える、素晴らしい世界だと私も強く思います。アニメや漫画、オタク文化の輪が更に拡がり、国境を超えて語らうことができる。本当に素晴らしいことです。
　 There is no border, no gender, no race for the love for anime. Everybody can share their passion towards anime and manga. We can talk about our favorite things across the border. It is amazing.

　応援大使となったからには、私自身先陣を切って国と国を繋ぐ架け橋となり、日本のアニメの良さを、漫画の素晴らしさを、オタク文化の魅力を世界の国々のイベントに更に拡めることができるよう、精一杯努めさせていただきます。IOEAをキッカケに、オタク文化の素晴らしさが更に分かち合えますように。
　 I will work hard to become a bridge for fans all over the world by telling the greatness of anime, manga, and otaku culture. Hope we can share the love for otaku culture through IOEA.
